qBittorrent doesn't show peers on some torrents

Hello. Made the switch to qBittorrent yesterday and I'm having an issue I couldn't find anything about in the forum.

As you can see in the attachet screenshot some of the torrents shows no peers, but I know there is peers cause they downloaded fine, and I can see how many seeders and leechers there is on their respective sites. Moreover if someone connects to me and start leeching they will show up, not in the swarm, just as a single leecher.

Lastly, on a comic tracker I'm on I can see which torrents I'm seeding, but none show up, even though they are seeding in qBittorrent albeit being plagued by the issue I'm having. What gives?

Tracker sites 'lie' about the numbers, simply because peer IDs are cached and a client that can send random IDs to trackers may be counted multiple times

You need seeds to download completely  not peers, and if no peers connect to your client to download, ... YOU cannot make them.

That may be, but it's not the case. If I open the torrent in another client I can see the peers just fine (and they match the trackers in question).

Yes I know how the protocol works in broad terms. I simply meant peers as in seeders and leechers. If I'm uploading to someone they show up, and the same with downloading. Then they dissappear. I have no problem completing the download.

If you don't have some constructive input please go back and plague the utorrent forums.

Select a torrent that appears to have zero peers. Click on the "trackers" button on the bottom of the window. Take a screenshot and post it here.

Screenshot attached.. Looks like it can see it alright. There's supposed to be 6 seeders and 0 leechers on this torrent.

If they are complete then it's not supposed to show peers? At least that's what I always thought...

Make sure that you are connectable, and not constant yellow indicator at the bottom. If you always see numbers in parenthesis (while downloading) means you cannot connect to them. Next, when complete it should show seeds in parenthesis, or at least mine does for the last known number, not continuously updating.

Your client does not stay connected to all peers all of the time,

The tracker in the screenshot shows that 6 peers have announced they have that particular job but it may have been weeks or months ago, simply because trackers cache IDs, the 0 indicates that there are 0 seeding peers in the swarm at this point in time.
