In Win 8.1 I cant seem to get magnet links working

I had utorrent installed then I installes qbit and then deinstalled utorrent

everything works find but magnet links dont work
I dont see any way to register it to qbit

Tools -> Options -> Behaviour.-> File Association

magnet is checked already but it doesnt seem to work

In that case, you need to set the Application associations/mapping in whatever browser you are using.

I am using chrome v32 on win8.1-64

I guess its kinda of qbitt torrent bug to not set all the required setting in registry on windows

update now its working qbittorrent set the required registry setting like seen above so magnet is working now


didnt saw any message from qbit so i guess it was a silent registry overwrite when start qbit
