I'm currently running 3.1.5. But a new site I just joined only allows version 2.9.2.
Can I run two version of qBittorrent; and, if so, how would I accomplish this?
Tnx
Run two verions of qBittorrent?
Re: Run two verions of qBittorrent?
Sure, try installing to two separate directories qBittorrent 2.9.2, qBittorrent 3.1.5, and creating shortcuts too these on the desktop, not sure if they could be run simultaneously though as I don't use windows (Linux)

Re: Run two verions of qBittorrent?
thanks... will give it a try.
I have my current port set to 49160 ... should the second version of qBittorrent have a different port?

Yes.
Re: Run two verions of qBittorrent?
Might not have to go that far, have you tried using the latest version on the site? 2.9.2 might be the minimum version they are looking for (minus beta/testing builds of course).

Re: Run two verions of qBittorrent?
You can install to 2 separate folders, but the config will be saved to the same location. So any change you do in version A will be reflected to version B. Of course you CANNOT run more than one instance at a time.
As loki said, are you sure that 2.9.2 isn't the minimum required instead of as maximum? It is indeed the maximum required can you tell which it is? I may contact them to resolve the problem. (If they are willing to cooperate, because other sites said "no time to evaluate qbt goodbye")
