When I updated QBittorrent from 4.5.3 to v4.5.4, it performed a re-check on all of my torrents.
Q: Is there a way in the future to tell it not to re-check after only an update?
My reason is: I have over 24TB of seeds and it takes over a day to re-check all of them.
I updated yesterday and it's still in the process of re-checking, even though all of them were running fine before the update.

It should not perform a recheck.
I've been upgrading for years and recheck is not part of the upgrade process. Maybe the client was killed too fast when you did the upgrade. It's better to shut it down, wait for it to write out data and then run the installer.
