Hi, I have Qbittorrent(App Version: 4.5.0 Chart Version:1.0.9) running on my Truenas server(TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.0.1).
The issue is that a while ago, around the time I migrated my apps to a new ssd, my torrents became extremely slow to check.
I left my server running all day, and they barely progressed at all. Looks like it'll take months just to check a few dozen torrents. If I pause everything except just one, then it does about 0.1% every few minutes.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!
Torrents stuck on 'checking'
Re: Torrents stuck on 'checking'
Hello
To fix the slow torrent checking issue in Qbittorrent on your TrueNAS server, try the following steps:
Check Disk Health: Ensure the new SSD is healthy and not experiencing issues.
Adjust Disk Cache Size: Increase the disk cache size in Qbittorrent settings.
Disable Disk Write Cache: In TrueNAS, disable the disk write cache for the SSD.
Update Qbittorrent: Ensure both Qbittorrent and TrueNAS are updated to the latest versions.
Limit Concurrent Checks: Reduce the number of concurrent torrent checks in Qbittorrent settings.

AFAIK TrueNAS uses ZFS, I'm curious as to what you mean by that, and why you think it would affect reads.
