Strange qBittorrent behaviour on ASUSTOR NAS

I had been using uTorrent for many, many years without problems, was using it exclusively with HDT (HD-Torrents). However, uTorrent on ASUSTOR NAS was unable to cope with the recent security changes introduced by HDT and it stopped connecting to the Tracker.

I switched to qBittorrent and the behavior is very strange, it will download some files without a hitch but will not be able to download some other files with errros such as "Host not found (non-authoritative), try again later". I can successfully download the same file on my PC using the very same qBittorrent.

I understand that it is primarily at the NAS's end or a problem with the Docker as I am also unable to use JDownloader2. qBittorrent can atleast download quite a lot of files and fails only a handful of files unlike JDownloader2 which cannot even access the internet for some reason even though both are Docker apps.

Looking for someone who might have faced a similar issue and for solutions. Thanks.
