I'm having issues with my upload speed with qbittorrent 5.0.1. I have google fiber with 500 symmetric. I've confirmed that my laptop can hit these speeds (ish, usually around 300). I use proton vpn with p2p connections. When I download a torrent I can hit 30MiB/s. However, it seems my uploads are restricted to ~300KiB/s and usually around 50KiB/s. This restriction occurs even without using my VPN.
I do not have global or alternative rate limits enabled.
I do not have any connection limits or upload slots enabled.
I do not have rate limits for uTP, LAN or transport overhead enabled.
I do not have torrent queueing enabled.
Qbittorrent is bound to my vpn interface, but even if I change to any interface and disable vpn, the issue persists.
Why might be uploading so slowly? I suspect there's probably some other config that I need to modify.
How to increase upload speed?

Re: How to increase upload speed?
Port forwarding ok? Or perhaps not enough peers interested in your torrents?
Re: How to increase upload speed?
It's peer-to-peer. You are not uploading to a target server somewhere but to various people around the world. They might only require a tiny bit of your upload, they just finished downloading, etc. Actually maintaining a "ratio" on private trackers is quite hard because of these things.
