I've got an old drive I refuse to stop using, and get CRC errors occasionally, and qBittorrent bugs out every single time I try to scan them, but if I open utorrent, add the torrent, and CRC check and it goes through it fine in one run and removes the bad data (usually around 0.1% of the download). Getting weeeeird behavior from qBittorrent, the completion goes way past 100% sometimes and never finishes etc. Now it seems to be stuck at 38% no matter how many times I hit start or force recheck, it never finishes.
I've had this issue with over 50 torrents so far over the past 3 or 4 years and every time uTorrent handles it perfectly, but I would much rather use qBittorrent!
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Still having problems with CRC checking
Re: Still having problems with CRC checking
- Check your drive with CrystalDiskInfo
- Check your disk with chkdsk
- Your anti-virus can cause file errors in case they block suspicious files and DLLs in the downloads
