Hi all,
Newbie on this forum. After years of only downloading through qBittorrent, I decided to share several files. Made all the necessary maps, and share. But somehow, ever since, all I like to download is waiting, even my seeding. Even trying to force the download doesn't help.
Thanks for your attention.
All downloads and seeds are waiting?

Re: All downloads and seeds are waiting?
Hi,
I am new too here, I have never needed to ask for help, but I think I am having similar issue than the other guy and getting lost here
I have been with qbitorrent since ever in Windows (default qbt install) and in one Ubuntu server (qbt-nox)
Now I have a little raspberrypi 5 16gb ram (official latest server version) with debian 12 bookworm, installed qbitorrent-nox (https://github.com/userdocs/qbittorrent-nox-static v5.1.0), official repo is way too old. It comes with an sdcard 256 where the SO is, a usb 64gb pendrive where I download stuff, I already test the user that runs qbt-nox can write the folders (right permissions)
Web interface works fine. Search plugins do bring results, seems internet works there.
But I added some magnet links and torrent files and the appear in the UI with status "Downloading metadata" and every other column status with no activity (0 seeds, 0 peers, etc), trackers all with status "Not Working" and message "skipping tracker announce (unreachable)"
In qbttorrent execution log I see no errors.
What can I check? is there any way to enable debug logging so I can search what I did wrong?
Thanks,
UPDATE: several hours later... :-p I think I found the problem, had to set in Advanced, Network Interface wlan0 and/or Optional IP address to bind to: All IPv4 addresses
dont know why, what could it be? (seems not to happend in Ubuntu Server nor Windows.

Re: All downloads and seeds are waiting?
After some hours of sleep
I came back, downloads were working good.
After a reboot, again the same behaviour, no transfers/traffic, but now I got an error in the execution log (post image here)
So I went back to Advanced and specified my wlan0 IP to bind to 10.10.0.119 because it stopped working after reboot with the parameters as shown in the image.
Not its working but with IP specified and wlan0.
What am I doing wrong or is it just Debian RaspiOS? what to check?
Thanks,
UPDATE: definitely there is something strange
, I setup my other linux box with ubuntu server 24.04 with qbt-nox (older version avaiable from qbt-nox v4.6.7 https://launchpad.net/~qbittorrent-team ... lter=noble)
I noticed that the same 4 torrents being donwloaded in Raspi (that are still being downloaded slowly) here in Ubuntu Server took about 30 minutes.
Other thing is that in RaspberryPi seems there is no traffic uploading (in Ubuntu it works as usual download/upload), so what I might think is that some connections are lost someway in RaspberryPi
