Importring Existing Torrent: Duplicate folders

Post by Splat »

Just installed v3.0.6 on Win7U64.  Went to import existing torrent and pointed qB to the correct folder with existing files and it makes a new duplicate folder within the existing folder. Anyone else getting this? Thanks.

PS, "Add Torrent file" feature correctly works, though it doesn't allow skipping checking but that's why I use the import existing torrent feature.

If it's a torrent which is a folder, you have to point it to the folder above the torrent you're adding.

That had to have been changed. In previous versions I actually opened the top-most folder of the torrent.

FWIW, I'm running v3.0.5 on another computer runinng XP and this op has changed in 3.0.6. Double-clicking the existing torrent's directory works fine for importing but in 3.0.6 it creates a copy of the folder in the existing torrent's folder.  Also, the force reannounce in 3.0.6 doesn't always work.

I'm still running 3.0.5 since I read there was some error with create torrent... I do occasionally use that feature and can't be bothered to have another program just for creating torrents so 3.0.5 works fine.
