I've got the same stalled issue that users were having before with some things that I haven't seen users comment about.
First off, the torrents were doing just fine and then suddenly crashed. I closed QBT and reopened it and I got I/O error messages popping up from the tray that kept on flickering. The download/stall status of the torrent kept on changing with about a 3 second interval between downloading and stalling with 4 torrents open. I tried to force close with task manager and it wouldn't (and still) won't close as well as the process being "memory stuck" at 100,792 K. I uninstalled and installed the normal 3.0.9 and the issue persisted. I further uninstalled and installed 3.0.8 and STILL it persisted. I finally just switched back to the special build hoping someone would give me an answer.
Windows 7 OS.

What does the I/O error say exactly? You can see it from the log View->Execution Log (you can hide the filename if you want)
Do you download to temp folder first? (Tools->Options...->Downloads->Keep incomplete torrents in:)

Problem fixed. My bad. Somehow my computer created several instances of the program and they couldn't read the files they were trying to write to the disk. Odd. Could be a glitch in my computer or the program. Thanks anyways.
