Link issues

Post by David FB »

I've been using qBit for some time, currently in Win7 64. I've noticed in recent versions a deterioration in torrent linking.
Magnetic links are often not working so I began using the 2 step Download link. In the new 3.1.5, this is downloading the torrent file to a temp folder but it's not being picked up by qBit, so I have to go digging for it, then click + to add.

At first I thought this may have been a bug in the torrent site or perhaps browser plugins issues but this latest behaviour suggests the software. The download dialogue shows Open with qBit option chosen, but then the torrent details dialogue doesn't come up. I have to browse into temp folders to find it.

Suggestions?

What browser?

Have you checked the application mappings in the browser?

Is your "temp folder" set in qBT as an "automatically load from" location?
