Just updated Qbittorrent (v3.1.5), does not work unless utorrent is on.

All of my torrents in qbittorrent are stalled and not downloading. My direct connections are green and online, my dht are under 100 nodes, and all settings are set to default with the exception in firewalls.

Since my torrents kept on stalling I decided to download utorrent to see if it was my computer or the client. When I turn on Utorrent simultaneously with qbittorrent, all of a sudden qbittorrent is downloading my torrents normally. Is there a way to fix this problem so that I can only use qbittorrent? I prefer not to use Utorrent.

So I figured out the cause of the problem but not the solution. So the reason qbittorrent cannot download anything is because it causes my VPN (private internet access) to disconnect from the server and attempt a reconnect. Do you know why it would casue this?

Maybe the port that you are using for connections to your VPN is causing problems? Try changing the port.
