pitty i closed my previous topic as i have a new example of a hanging system.
this time i did some further checking.
first i dropped the network interface
resource monitor : qbittorrent: not responding , using 45% cpu--memory usage 200 Mb--disk usage : nothing--network : nothing
chkdsk of my data drive : ok (150 GB free)
with process monitor the only activity from qbittorent was as the link shows a crazy reading of the geoip.dat
why would he do that ?

i restarted the app and now again i have "missing files" indication on some of my torrent. => disk checking for the next couple of hours...
anything further i can do ?
would a process dump be usefull ?

Seems reasonable with no network to connect to.nothing--network : nothing
Probably to be expected given the circumstances.i restarted the app and now again i have "missing files" indication on some of my torrent. => disk checking for the next couple of hours...
