Trackers: All of them report "Not contacted yet"

Post by OE1FEU »

I recently moved my installation to a new laptop and updated to Fedora 22.

The previous installation worked extremely well and with well seeded torrents I managed to max out my bandwidth of 100/50MBit.

The new installation does not work at all, i.e. no downloads or uploads whatsoever, no matter what torrent. The Trackers tab reports "Not contacted yet" on all trackers of all torrents.

Firewall deactivated and I put the laptop as an exposed host into the DMZ.

Other torrent programs work, i.e. aria2c works just fine.

What gives?

BTW, registering on this site is both a pain in the ass and a joke at the same time. I tried two different mail addresses that I host by myself and both were reported as disfunctional. Ridiculous.

Not helpful. I explicitly wrote that NONE of the trackers worked and force reannounce to all trackers doesn't do anything.

Well that the first thing to ask out of the way for that particular issue.

So moving on;

I uninstalled and reinstalled qBittorrent and removed all files in .config/qBittorrent/

Now it works as advertised. Some weird hick-up I guess.
