I/O error

Hello,

I have lent an external drive to a friend.  The drive has a lot of downloads - finished and not finished.  When I start QB, i naturally get I/O errors.  The strange thing is that I have them for another drive which is connected.  Some of the torrents even start anew even though they are completed.  I cannot possibly manually delete hundreds of torrents like in the previous sentence.  What should I do.

Another problem is the the client starts too slow.  I have been thinking to migrate to Tixati, but I love QB!

Did you get these IO errors before you lent it to said friend?

Check the SMART data, just in case.
1) Open a terminal
2) sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdX

X = portable drive's letter, Linux auto-assigns it.
If you have one drive in your PC, then it will /dev/sdb.
Two drives and this is the third? /dev/sdc. And so on.

Check the "reallocated sectors" and things like that in the output.

Now there is only one drive having health problems, according to SMART.

This drive:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12
Is dying/dead.
5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct  0x0033  100  100  036    Pre-fail  Always      -      22
Even a single reallocated sector count means you have to backup ASAP and get a replacement.
There is also this:
