Does Multiple Connection From same IP Speed up Downloads?

I'm curious to know about a little thing... Does qBittorrent support this feature "Allow Multiple Connections From Same IP"? Like Azureus Vuze? And is this really help us to speed up our downloads?

Maybe if your connection is 5+ megabytes/second AND you're only downloading from a single seed would you see closer to max speed using 2-3 connections to the same ip as opposed to one. Using 10+ connections to the same ip will likely be slower, maybe even immensely so!
But even 1 connection is likely to give >80% of the 5+ MB/sec max speed, assuming the seed is fast enough to do so.

If you have 2-5 torrents that the same ip is on, you can get 1 connection to the same ip on each of those torrents for the same effect. So the lack of multiple connections to the same ip limitation is only for the SAME torrent.

It's really about "gaming" the torrent swarm by pulling more from a single seed than everyone else...generally this is a bad idea.
