Floppy drive access when opening options in v4

Every time when opening tools>options, qbittorrent v4 keeps accessing the floppy drive (a:) for no reason (yes I still have a 3.5" floppy drive in my pc). This did not happen on v3

I know this post is old, but I am also experiencing the same issue. Also, when clicking any magnet link that opens in qBittorrent it will do it. Using version 4.1.5. If anyone has a solution that'd be great. It just gets annoying hearing the floppy drive every time I click a torrent link. Windows Explorer will do this too but only if a link or shortcut to something on the A:\ drive is in the current folder view. I am okay with that because I know why it is happening and can control it. I don't know why it happens on qBittorrent as I don't see the A:\ drive being targeted anywhere. I need to keep the floppy drive for vintage computers so disconnecting it would be inconvenient. Thanks.

Note -- this is just a guess on my part:
qBitTorrent may have been pointed to a .torrent file on A: at some point or torrent contents on A: -- so now it tries to access that drive because it's in its list whenever accessing options.

Can you back up qBitTorrent's settings and retry with a clean install of qBitTorrent?
