Hi everyone,
big fan of qBittorrent. However, constant updates can be a little bit annoying since you have to download the installer and reinstall the whole program every now and then. It would be awesome if you could download it from the Microsoft Store like you already can with Inkscape or Spotify since they provide direct updates from there. I bet a lot of people could also discover your software or you could go the Krita way and put a price on the Windows Store version as a donation.
Anyway, thanks in advance.
Publish qBittorrent on the Microsoft Store
Re: Publish qBittorrent on the Microsoft Store
PicoTorrent is already available on the Microsoft Store, so I see no reason why qBittorrent can't be included as well.
Re: Publish qBittorrent on the Microsoft Store
It's very hard to package up an application AND Windows Store apps are extremely confined/limited. (They all run in a sandbox essentially.)
All above that, the Store is dying more and more. It's practically dead at this point - everyone has given up on it.
That said, I am not calling the shots, just saying.
