qbittorrent-nox download path not in config file

qbittorrent-nox 4.1.1.99 under Ubuntu 16.04

I've make changes to the download path via the web-ui Option->Download tab then "save" but I cannot found any download path being updated to qBittorrent.conf.  Remember that I can see the download path in version 3.x .

I have upgraded from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04 and this is a new install of qbittorrent-nox, I have removed all the old upstart script and config files from the system before the new install.  What made me more confuse is that while the new download path is not seen inside qBittorrent.conf but when I logout/login the web-ui the new changed download path is being remembered.  Where did qbittorrent-nox store this piece of information beside qBittorrent.conf, in the browser side? If this is the case would it be possible for different user define their own download path?
