Hi,
I added 50 torrents to qBittorrent v4.1.1 for seeding. No actual data is uploaded, they all sit at 0 B/s upload speed. However, it slows down the internet on all devices that are on the same (my home) network! Web pages barely load, or straight up won't load. Not just on my PC, every other connected device, Windows PC, Android phone that is on the same network. My router runs OpenWRT and the loads are 0.01 0.02 0.05, so it's not the problem. But what could it be? Using default setting, only changed max. upload and torrent numbers to 100 so I can keep all the torrents in seed.

Re: Seeding 50 torrents slows down internet
1.Your internet connection is how fast?
2.Maybe your modem is choking instead of your router?

Re: Seeding 50 torrents slows down internet
My internet speed is 120/20 Mbit/s. Will check the modem, but it should be able to handle it, it's a fairly new modem with 5Ghz wifi, but working in bridge mode.
Re: Seeding 50 torrents slows down internet
Good job on using the modem in bridge mode, as that usually reduces modem problems immensely.
Check windows task manager and look at its networking to see if there's a huge burst of bandwidth by qBT causing this weirdness.
Have you tried any other BitTorrent client to see if it has the same problems?
...Or try qBT v3.3.16 which uses an earlier libtorrent.

What I did is changing the max connection numbers.
Max. connection to 100 (was 500 before)
Max. connection per torrent to 6 (was 100 before)
Now it seems to run fine, and upload and download speeds remained the same. Will test this with these settings and see if it will keep working.
