qbittorrent-nox ppa not working in bionic

Post by gastlyTree »

Hi, I'm trying to set up qbittorrent-nox on my headless ubuntu 18.04 server.
When trying to add the repository I get this error:

Code: Select all

 More info: https://launchpad.net/~qbittorrent-team/+archive/ubuntu/qbittorrent-stable
Press [ENTER] to continue or Ctrl-c to cancel adding it.

N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
I've been looking all over online and can't find any reference to this issue in regards to qbittorrent.
I'm hoping someone on here might have an answer for me. Thanks.

Well I feel dumb.
I guess the sources.list file is pretty bare bones on a server install.
I was able to find a decent configuration that worked.
Never had this problem before, but maybe Canonical is trying to focus more on snaps now.

If anyone knows that I just didn't understand something, please enlighten me.

I'm having this problem, too. What did you do to get it working?
