How to resume torrent downloads started by utorrent?

Assume I started some big (> 10GB) torrent downloads in an uTorrent installation.
Since the torrent source is not always available the download could last for days or even weeks until they are finished.
Now I decide to exit utorrent and resume the downloads with qBittorrent.

In order not to loose the already downloaded data I  need a way to tell qbittorrent where to find the torrents files
and to re-use the local, partially existing content.

How can I achieve this?
