Even though I have two different folder's used and specified, the one that is just for the completed downloads, still has folders and files from downloads in progress. When i really want that folder to never have any files or folders that aren't completely done downloading.
This way when i run my script to move completed downloads, I know for sure it's copying the right files and folders.
But if the completed downloads folder has both types, completed and incomplete, it really messes the whole thing up.
Is this a common bug?
Problems with folders
Re: Problems with folders
I have almost same problem,
my home is on disk system ssd 60 go , ext4 , programm , system and home are her
my data is on hdd 750 go , mount on media/data
all my data folder are on data hdd , qbtorrent / incomplete , and qbtorrent / complete1 , qbtorrent / complete2 etc
sometimes , downlaod are finish , and in the morning I find the ui that my torrent is on paused state , the file exits in incomplete and complete1
so I try to check , ... checking button , and the the file again in pause mode
so I copy from complete to incomplete the file , and I checking again , and after qb is seeding , but my file is duplicate
the problem is from ext4 .. from hhd managing , I don't know
this is append only few times on hundred file , but I just want to where I can correct this , to say to qbtorrent ," yes , my file is complete , stop to pause it , and seed it "
thanx for software , great job !

Re: Problems with folders
I use a lot of label , so may be , it is a messup .. about them
Re: Problems with folders
Why does qbittorrent create folders and files in the folder that is specified to just hold downloads that are finished/done?
That makes no sense.
There is a seperate folder in settings, that indicate's it's there to hold temporary files/folders until the download is complete, then it moves to the completed/done folder.
But if i have a bash w/cron to move files/folders from the completed/down folder, it makes it really messy to contain incomplete downloads.
Can this be fixed, or a better way to move completed folders based on label to a folder?

Re: Problems with folders
Same behaviour here with qbittorrent 2.9.7 in ubuntu.
I wonder if it has to do with torrents that hold several files inside... perhaps when one of those files is completed, it may be moved to the complete folder, though the full torrent is still uncompleted, and therefore with some files in the 'in progress folder'. Just a thought...
Anyway, it's confusing.
