As for the window manager I use KDE
Now I'll go search the window manager again but i have a feeling it's hard coded in qBittorrent
One should never assume

Re: How to change the beep the web ui uses?
Just as an aside.
KDE is the desktop environment (DE) so the "Window Manager" you are using will most likely be KWin
Any how;
The system sounds for KDE are located in /usr/share/sounds/ replace the one(s) you don't like with your personal choices (case sensitive names) as the WebUI simply runs in your browser, so uses the same 'sound scheme' as the browser does.

Open "System Settings". Go into the sound settings. Switch out the sound you don't find pleasing. Call it a day.

sadly you all keep repeating the same ol same ol and seem to miss where i actually typed that has all ready been tried. Is it a reading comprehension problem ?
Once again changing it in system settings/System Notification Configuration does not get it done, it has been tried and it still fails.

First of tell me what you click/press/do in the WebUI that produces the beep.

Not at all, it's more the fact that you have not actually told us what you have tried.sadly you all keep repeating the same ol same ol and seem to miss where i actually typed that has all ready been tried. Is it a reading comprehension problem ?

Why would the WebUI have sound?
Is it a navigation sound...? Check in the system sounds, which one it's assigned to, and change it to whatever sound file you like.
