[Solved]Missing Python Interpreter

Post by Charlie »

Hi, using latest version of QBittorrent 4.0.3 on Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia. I tried searching using the inbuilt engine, which I have never had a problem with before, and it is giving me an error about missing Python. A python -V command returns "Python 2.7.12".

Help would be appreciated. A bug, I do not know.

I have uninstalled the version downloaded from this site and have installed the version in Mint "Software Manager" and that appears to be exactly the same, version 4.0.3, and displays the same problem with missing Python.

Solved it. Firejail was somehow causing Python to be hidden. I had to purge it then the client functioned as it should and search works.
