What is the best general tracker according to you?

The main reason for having lots of trackers is in case 1 goes offline or is inaccessible for other reasons.
But it's usually a bad idea to add lots of trackers to random torrents just because you can.

Now if you're making your own torrents and need a tracker or trackers on it, then choosing 1 to 5 trackers from the list Peter mentioned is perfectly reasonable.

Oh yeah I might have gotten confused right after OP.
As "general" I meant public trackers you can just add to any torrent.

For a general purpose tracker, if we include private ones too, I'd say IPTorrents is definitely nice. But the staff, ugh. I had an issue once and oh my God it was a pain to get my account unblocked. Like they were so aggressive, offensive, argumentative. The site is nice, staff is very not nice.

Kudos to them for running the site but they are not nice if you ever have to contact them. Just hope you never have to contact them and it's all going to be great!

Any data from those listed or not listed by you that would allow us to compare trackers and choose the best among them. Or to assess to what extent the user’s indication of some trackers as the best corresponds to reality, at least according to some parameters.
