5.0 update broke 'also remove the content files'

I've been using qBittorrent for a while, it recently updated to v 5.0 and though I'd previously had the option checked to 'also remove the content files' when removing a torrent. It's still checked but today I realized that it's not actually removing the files anymore.

I tried doing one and turning it off, then doing another and turning it back on and it still fails to delete the files.

Is this a known bug in 5? Anything I can try to get it resolved?
