Same old story... >:(
Read your error message. You have a broken/old outdated plugin. Remove it and the search functionality returns.

It is Not just A Specific Plug-in.
Since version 5, ALL Plug-ins are GONE!

They are gone. Because the outdated plugin broke the system. See the image you posted.

So, what do you propose?
Install All Plug-ins One-by-One?

I tried that, too.
But I couldn't Manually Install A Single Plug-in!

BTW, my Python is the Latest: 13.3.0

Even when I Check to Update Plug-ins, multiple Windows-Messages Pop-Up stating that it is impossible!

Follow the guide.

- Remove all existing plugins.
- Remove all obsolete Python installations; too new installations are not good either. If you must use a sub-optimal version, just install the current proposed version by qBittorrent as well and set the path in Advanced Settings. Your system will decide which to use based on your env values.
- Launch the client, go into Search and look for updates. It will auto download the supported plugins.

Current auto installed version: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... .cpp#L1892

Code: Select all

const auto installerURL = u"https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.13.0/python-3.13.0-amd64.exe"_s;

No no no no.
You still did not remove YOUR ALREADY INSTALLED PLUGINS.
They are causing all your problems.

- Shutdown qB.
- Press WIN+R on your PC. Type: %LOCALAPPDATA%\qBittorrent\nova3\
- Delete all files from the folder.
- Start qB, go into search and look for updates, it will download the supported ones.

Got it. It worked but it installed Only a Few Plug-ins.
What about the Rest Plug-ins that are Listed on https://github.com/qbittorrent/search-p ... ch-plugins ?
Do I have to MANUALLY Install them One-by-One?
Is there a way to Install them Automatically?

- Those are unofficial, meaning they might or might not be compatible.
- Some have not received updates for a long time, like the one that broke your installation.

Your only option is to use a legacy, pre-5.0 version of qBittorrent. But your plugin(s) will break once the website you are using them on changes. So they might work today, but might break tomorrow.
