Nightly of.. qBittorrent? I don't think we have a nightly build?
I build the git version to review and test translations, rarely to hunt down Issues on Github.
Anyway, that version works, but git or whatever is not recommended for daily use.

And those versions (git, beta, RC) are usually not whitelisted on private trackers either.

Oh, they are available, but that does not mean you should daily drive them - or use them at all. They are there so people can help with testing. See if their regular stuff works, the things they do did not break since the stable release. And they can also check if a reported issue they experience has been fixed.

There should be like a message maybe I guess? But honestly, we are back to step 1. qBittorrent and torrenting needs some technical how-to skills, otherwise you may just land yourself in some hot water. Yeah, there is a message when you start it which people just click so it goes away without reading. So I am all for the higher barrier - they have to learn what p2p is. How it all works. Otherwise they get in trouble and they also murder all the swarms.
