This is answer why, it doesn't work. You should have Windows 11, or Windows 10 newer then 22H1 or something like that.

Um no i shouldn't. qBittorrent has had a dark mode since before win 10 even came out so it definitely isn't that and i wouldn't downgrade my OS just because of that anyway.idimus wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 2:45 pmThis is answer why, it doesn't work. Just download some dark theme for qBittorrent and use it instead of forcing UI to darkmode natively.SinShadowFox wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 5:16 pmUm no i shouldn't. qBittorrent has had a dark mode since before win 10 even came out so it definitely isn't that and i wouldn't downgrade my OS just because of that anyway.idimus wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 2:45 pmThis is answer why, it doesn't work. The problem with that is there is no 1 to 1 custom dark mode. To put it another way, everyone is an "artist" and needs to make there own change whether its to the colors or the UI. The best one I've found so far is Dracula 2 but even that looks wrong. I'd rather get native dark mode working.idimus wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 9:54 pmJust download some dark theme for qBittorrent and use it instead of forcing UI to darkmode natively.SinShadowFox wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 5:16 pmUm no i shouldn't. qBittorrent has had a dark mode since before win 10 even came out so it definitely isn't that and i wouldn't downgrade my OS just because of that anyway.idimus wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 2:45 pm

I created an account literally just to say thank you for this. This is the solution I had been looking for. My eyes thank you.idimus wrote: Wed Jan 24, 2024 9:11 pm So enabling Dark Windows theme in Windows Setting doesn't affect my qBittorrent color. Although enabling dark mode by launching with command line or editing link works pretty well.
BUT! If I'm opening torrent file, when qBit not launched, it still white. So, I have better solution. You can edit "qt.conf" file instead of modifying link. If's sit beside to qBittorrent.exe ("c:\Program Files\qBittorrent\" for me)
Open qt.conf file for editing (administrative privileges would required).
In the end of file, add following line:Save file. After relaunching qBit it would be dark mode enabled. Works even if you launching qBit though opening torrent file.Code: Select all
WindowsArguments = darkmode=2

Many thanks! This post was super helpful.
I've one question, could you please guide me on the procedure to alter the font color from green to red? Kindly refer to the image below for further context.

Check and see if qbittorent is running in the system tray and if so, right mouse click, exit and then start qbittorent again.
